Dear Prof. Sprinz, dear fellow students,

I wanted to try out creating an excel spreadsheet by copying the input matrix from ‘BaliHighBaliLow’ from page 217 of “Predictioneer’s Game: The Brazen Logic of Self-Interest to See and Shape the Future". Unfortunately, I couldn´t find the respective input matrix in this book.

Could someone help me out with that please?

Best,

Leon

Hello Leon,

if you are still stuck, you can use the Output file 1 from Module 6 as it has also all the player´s data. I dont know if it is really the data from "Bueno de Mesquita (2009, 217)" but its titles "BaliHighBaliLow".

If you manage to find the data in the book, would you mind sharing it? The University of Potsdam as only a single online licence and I am not able to access it therefore currently.

Best wishes,
Lars

Hi Lars,
Thanks for your help! I couldn’t find the data in the book as well, but it seems that the output file in module 6 is sufficient.

Best,
Leon

The data are both in the book (at least according to the Kindle version) as well as in the output file 1 posted.
Note: desire for agreement = flexibility.  The other columns receive "0" entries for the model to be able to run the input file.
