5. Der Einfluss dieses Verhältnisses (Körper|Digitalkultur) auf seinen Schaffensprozess

Ich
stimme Ihnen zu, dass wir jeden Tag so viele Bilder und so viele
Menschen und so viele Körper sehen, und das ist verrückt. Ich
glaube nicht, dass es mich so sehr beeinflusst. Ich weiß nicht, in
meiner künstlerischen Praxis nutze ich es, weil es praktisch ist,
und es hat mir sicher geholfen, meine Arbeit zu zeigen. Aber ich
glaube nicht, dass es sich auf meinen kreativen Prozess ausgewirkt
hat. Vielleicht ist es auch eine Generationsfrage, denn ich habe mein
kreatives Leben vor dieser Zeit begonnen. Ich glaube also nicht, dass
ich so sehr beeinflusst bin. Das wäre also meine Antwort. Nein, ich
würde sagen, ich bin nicht zu sehr von den sozialen Medien
beeinflusst. Als Mensch werde ich natürlich beeinflusst, weil sie
sich auf mein Leben auswirken. Aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es
einen Einfluss auf meinen kreativen Prozess hat.
Was den
Vergleich des eigenen Körpers mit anderen angeht, so habe ich das
Gefühl, dass es jetzt besser ist als früher, denn früher sah man
auf den Fotos nur Super-Modeleute, die immer die gleiche Körperform
hatten, und durch die sozialen Medien, denke ich...
Ich meine,
das ist wahr und nicht wahr zugleich, denn es gibt auch eine Menge
Influencer. Und ich habe gehört, dass einige junge Leute versuchen,
genauso auszusehen wie die Person, der sie auf Instagram folgen, und
so weiter. Ich weiß, nachdem ich darüber gesprochen habe, denke
ich, dass das, was ich gesagt habe, nicht stimmt. Ich glaube nicht,
dass es besser oder schlechter ist. Ich denke, es ist ein anderer
Weg. Aber ja, ich meine, die große Sache am Internet ist, dass es
für jeden frei zugänglich ist, frei für Bullshit und frei für
großartige Dinge. Und so ist es frei im Sinne der freien
Meinungsäußerung. Und es ist das beste Werkzeug, um Menschenmengen
zu manipulieren. Es ist also das eine und das andere zugleich.

agree with you that we see so many images and so many people and so
many bodies every day and it is crazy. I don't think it influences me
that much. I don't know in my artistic practice, I use it because
it's convenient and it's helped me to show my work for sure. But I
don't think it has impacted my creative process. Maybe it's also a
generational thing because I started my creator's life before that.
So I don't think I'm so much influenced. So that would be my answer.
No, I would say no, I'm not too much influenced by social media. As a
person, I'm influenced, of course, because it has an impact in my
life. But I'm not sure it has an impact on my creative process.
In
terms of comparing one's body to another, I think I have the feeling
that it's better now than before, because before you would see the
bodies on the photography only like super fashion people that are
always the same shape of body and through social media, I think…
I
mean, that's true and not true at the same time, because there are
also a lot of influencers. And I've heard about that some young
people are trying to look the same way as the person they are
following on Instagram, and so on. I know, after talking about it, I
think what I was saying is not true. I don't think it's better or
worse. I think it's a different way. But yeah, I mean, it's the big
thing about the internet is that it's free for everybody to
experience that is also free for bullshit and free for great things.
And so it's free for freedom of expression. And it's the best tool
for manipulating crowds. So, it's one thing and the opposite at the
same time.
